Bennettsville man wanted after drug conviction

A Bennettsville man is wanted after being convicted of a drug charge, according to a press release from the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office.

Tony Junior Drayton, 32, of Amelia Street is described as a black man about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 148 pounds and has lots of tattoos.

Drayton is wanted on a circuit court bench warrant issued during his trial Wednesday in Marlboro County General Sessions Court. He was tried and convicted in absentia of distribution of crack cocaine-third offense. Circuit Court Judge Paul Burch has sealed Drayton’s sentence.
