SURFSIDE BEACH - Police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver involved in a hit-and-run on April 9th in Surfside Beach.
According to a news release, it happened at around 11:25 a.m. near the intersection of 5th Avenue N. and Highway 17.
Police say a white, Chevy extended cab two-wheel drive truck had struck a bicyclist and driver then fled the scene.
The bicyclist was transported to Waccamaw Medical Center with serious injuries, the release said.
