Deputies continue to investigate the death of a Chesterfield County man whose body was found in a roadway Saturday.
Eric Duncan, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene, Chesterfield County Coroner Kip Kiser said.
Duncan apparently died of gunshot wounds to the head, Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Maj. James Dixon said.
His car was found parked a short distance from his body on the same road, Dixon said.
Deputies have few leads in the case but are working hard with the information they have, he said.
This is the first murder investigation in the county in just over a year, Dixon said.
