A Georgetown man died in an accident Saturday in the county.
Coroner Kenny Johnson says the accident happened sometime after 8 p.m. in the Pleasant Hill section of Georgetown County.
Johnson says 28-year-old Michael Elliot was riding on the back of a pick-up truck along with one of his children.
The truck was loaded with yard debris.
The coroner says a log truck driver did not see Elliot or the child on the back of the truck, and struck the vehicle.
Elliot died as a result of the accident.
Johnson says his child is expected to be okay.
