One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday morning in Darlington County, S.C. Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins said.
The victim’s identity wasn’t immediately available from the Darlington County Coroner’s Office.
The crash happened about 9 a.m. on Patrick Highway when the driver of a 2001 Chevrolet Impala traveling south ran off the road and struck a tree, according to highway patrol reports. The motorist had been wearing a seat belt.
