»  Comments | Post a Comment

Darlington County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a string of vandalism cases in the Hartsville area.

So far, eight reports have been filed with the sheriff’s office about people having the tires slashed on vehicles parked on their property between March 26 and Wednesday, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

The vandals have struck property along Colonial Park Drive, Jessamine and Laurel drives, Mail Sail Road and Newport Lane, the release said.

Deputies have few leads and are asking anyone with information about these crimes to call the sheriff’s office at (843) 398-4501 or Crime Stoppers of the Pee Dee at (888) CRIME SC (274-6372). Callers need not reveal their identities.
