Marion Police are investigating a murder.
It happened Friday night at an apartment complex just before 10 p.m.
Police said a suspect fired shots at the Rosewood Apartments, located on Pickens Street.
Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson identified the victim as 64 year-old George Pat Staggers of Marion. Richardson said Staggers was shot inside his apartment.
Staggers’ body has been sent to MUSC for an autopsy.
We're told Marion Police had someone in for questioning Friday night in connection with this murder.
