Myrtle Beach Police investigators say they are looking for 44-year-old Floyd Edward Caulder, a man they say held a woman against her will for more than 10 hours inside a motel room, where he severely beat and sexually assaulted her.

According to Lieutenant Doug Furlong, the victim told police Caulder, an acquaintance, beat her up and raped her during a stay at Budget Inn Annex on Flagg Street on September 16th.

Officers say the woman had injuries to her head, neck, and back.

She told police Caulder left the scene in a red 1999 Red Dodge Dakota pick-up truck, with Tennessee license plate 263-QZZ.

At this point, poilce say Caulder is charged with criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, along with kidnapping and possession of a knife during a violent felony.

Caulder is described as five feet, four inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

His information is entered into the NCIC database, and U.S. Marshals are assisting with the search.

If you have any information, you are asked to call police.
