I have been reading in the paper the complaints about hog, turkey and chicken farms.
We must realize they cannot be grown in the grocery store.
Without the farmers, we would not have food, some clothing and many other things.
The government has cut the farmers in so many ways in the things they can grow so they have to look for other ways to make a living.
Yes, I grew up on the farm and glad I did. I learned a lot about many things. We had the smell of all these animals, but it never hurt anyone.
I sure love country ham, pork chops, chicken and turkey.
The things we need to complain about, not much is said. Example: drugs, drinking, smoking and killing babies do far more damage than any of the other animals will ever do.
We pay taxes on our land to have someone else tell us what we can do with it. What has happened to free America?
As Americans, we do not work together at all. While we are pulling against each other, foreign folks are taking over our country.
Look around. I live next door to a fire station. Do I complain when I’m awakened at night? No. We also have turkey and chicken farms close by, too.
I’m a 72-year-old lady and so amazed with what is going on in our country. Let’s work together to help each other and keep this great country that God lets us have. God bless you.
