South Carolina Highway Patrol Officers are reporting a fatal motorcycle accident that happened early Saturday morning. It happened at about 12:15 a.m.
The victim was traveling east on Highway 90, about 7 miles west of North Myrtle Beach, when he crashed into a ditch near Star Bluff Road.
Police then say he was transferred to the New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
Horry County Coroner Robert Edge identified the victim as Percy Lemount Hill, 36, of Hemingway Landing Road, in Longs. He was wearing a helmet, officials said.
