I am both concerned and amused at the Palin-mania being felt throughout the country.
Natural curiosity is expected, but the McCain campaign seems to be trying to deceive people into believing that her candidacy will somehow make him a better president, maybe even admitting that by electing the oldest person as president needs a “Plan B” in case something happens.
Palin has already been discredited for first supporting the Bridge to Nowhere and then claiming that she told Congress “No Thanks” after funding had been rescinded.
In addition, she never sold the corporate jet on eBay, and when she “fired” the governor’s personal chef, she had actually reassigned him to another job.
Now we are hearing that she is changing her beliefs on global warming from a year ago when she stated that she did not believe that it was true.
The VP position is largely symbolic and those who are believing that Sarah Palin is somehow going to cure the absolute mess of the Bush administration’s failed policies and selfish decisions of the last eight years will surely be disappointed.
