The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce is encouraging residents to pick up a free copy of the city’s Emergency Operations Plan. According to a press release, the plan includes hurricane preparation tips, maps and local information including evacuation routes, shelter information and more. To pick up a copy you can go to the Chamber’s Visitors Center at 270 Highway 17 in North Myrtle Beach. The Visitors Center is open from 8:30am -5:30pm Thursday and Friday, and 10:00a, - 4:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
