Woman whose dog was killed burglarized again

A woman whose dog was put into a oven during a home invasion last week has been burglarized again, Dillon Police Sgt. Jason Turner said.

Someone kicked in the front door of Bonnie Bowens’ home Oct. 22, put her pug inside her oven and then turned the unit on.

Police said the place had been ransacked and Bowens’ belongings had been thrown around the house.

A similar series of events played out Monday, Turner said.

Someone kicked in the door of the Owens Street home walked through the house and exited through the back door, according to the incident report.

Nothing was removed from the residence.
