The Second Chance K9 Rescue and the Carolina Kitties Rescue will join forces Saturday for a pet adoption from noon until 4 p.m. at the Pamplico Highway BiLo in Florence.
The Second Chance K9 Rescue of the Pee Dee will have dogs and puppies available.
The animals will have been bathed, and each dog will go home with a lead and a small starter bag.

The Caroline Kitties Rescue will have kittens and cats available. The cats are up-to-date on vaccinations, FeLV tested negative, treated against fleas and altered if they are old enough.
Photos of the other cats at the rescue are available and appointments can be made to see them.
