RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) _ Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is returning to North Carolina to hold a campaign event three days before Election Day.
Palin will campaign Saturday at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. It will be her second event in North Carolina in just a week. She drew thousands to a rally in Asheville on Sunday.
The Alaska governor continues an aggressive and constant schedule of campaign appearances for both sides. Her Democratic counterpart, Joe Biden, has made five stops in North Carolina over two days over the past week.
Both the leading presidential candidates have also stopped in North Carolina, with Democrat Barack Obama visiting on Wednesday.
