MARY MARGARET COE
Mary Margaret Coe, 74, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at her residence. Arrangements will be announced by Young & Young Funeral Home of Hartsville. The family will receive friends at 1101 E. Home Ave., Pinebridge, Apt. 10D, Hartsville.

Graveside services for Regina Gilbert Lackey, 47, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, in Darlington Memory Gardens. The Rev. Charles McLendon officiated, and Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home served the family. Memorials may be made to the McLeod Hospice House, 1203 E. Cheves St., Florence SC 29506.
Mrs. Lackey, widow of Brent Lackey, died Thursday, Oct. 16. Born in Darlington County, she was a daughter of Betty Bullard Nordquist and
the late William Ancil Gilbert.
Surviving are her son, Jay Gary Myers of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters and sons-in-law, Autumn Myers of Atlanta, Ga., Dedra and Alan Wiggins of Florence, Carmen and Ronnie Wiggins of Florence; sister and brother-in-law, Joy and David Watford of Hartsville; brother and sister-in-law, Robbie and Debbie Gilbert of Hartsville; grandchildren, Michael Skinner, Matthew Brown, and Kayleigh Brown. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Brian Gilbert.

WOODY MAHN
CONWAY - Funeral services for James Sherwood “Woody” Mahn, 56, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008 at Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Milton Frazier officiated.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
Mr. Mahn died Monday, Oct. 20. Born in Florence County, he was a son of Zelda Mozingo Mahn and the late Billy S. Mahn.
Surviving are his wife, Kelly Mahn of Conway; mother, of Conway; sister, Dawn O’Brien of Edgewood, Texas; stepsons, Michael Willis of Conway, Matthew Willis
of Darlington; nephews, Jason Spivey, Billy O’Brien, Kevin O’Brien. He was preceded in death by his son, James Garrett Mahn.

PEGGY
FUNDERBURKE
With the Love of family and the Peace that only our heavenly Father can give, Peggy Jean Hunt Funderburke, 73, left the pains of this world to go to be with her Savior on Oct. 19, 2008.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22,
at Florence National Cemetery. The Rev. Randy Gulledge officiated, and Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home was in charge. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
Mrs. Funderburke was born in Chesterfield County, a daughter of the late Hillard Belk and Bertie McLaurin Hunt. She spent her childhood between Charleston and “Hunts Mill” before her family moved to Hartsville. She was very active in Emmanuel Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Church. She taught preschool and kindergarten before becoming a home health care provider. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are Ronnie E. Funderburke of Hartsville, her husband and constant source of strength and support, along with
her children, sons and daughters-in-law, Ed
and Rebecca Rogers Funderburke of South-port, N.C., Dale and Debbie Hancock Funder-burke of Hartsville; daughter and son-in-law, Faith and J. R. Fowler of Panama City, Fla.; sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Lou Northcutt of Hartsville, Nina Ruth and Hugh Null of Houston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, H. B. and Pearl Hunt of Hartsville;
grandchildren, Ron Funderburke, Hank Funderburke, Hannah Funderburke, Nicki Thompson, Charla Funderburke, Bruce Funderburke; great-grandchildren, Burke Funderburke, Gabe Funderburke, Kyle Blackwell, Hunter Blackwell. She was predeceased by a grandson, T. J. Thompson, who died in 2006.

FAYE JOHNSON WHETSTONE
Funeral services for Faye Johnson Whetstone, 83, who died Oct. 21, 2008, will be held today, Oct. 24, at 3 p.m. at Middendorf Baptist Church. The Revs. Don Rhyne and Ed Griggs will officiate. Graveside services will be Sunday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, Ga.
Mrs. Whetstone, widow of Byron I. Whetstone, was born in Chesterfield County, a daughter of the late George Wesley Johnson Jr. and Mary Katherine Grooms Johnson. She was a member of Middendorf Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Robert K. (Myron) Whetstone of Dallas, Ga.; daughters, Linda (Bill) Grimes of Buford, Ga., Sharon (Gene) Dutton of Newnan, Ga., Deborah (Jim) Williams of Jacksonville, Fla.; 24 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

KELLEY SR.
Funeral services for Gerald Clifton Kelley Sr., 79, will be held at
11 a.m. today, Oct. 24, 2008, at Prospect United Methodist Church. The Rev. Patricia Warden will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home is serving the family. The family will receive friends today following the service. Memorials may be

Mr. Kelley died Tuesday, Oct. 21. Born in Darlington County, he was a son of the late Vander Burdeen and Hannah Gainey Kelley. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church where he served as the church treasurer for many years. He was retired from Sonoco after 41 years of service and served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a loving, caring father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, bee keeping, and gardening.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ruth Kelley of Hartsville; son, Gerald Clifton “Clift” Kelly II and Guy Ranney of St. Louis, Mo.; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah K. and Glynn Huggins of Hartsville, Kris and Mark Deremo of Florence; sisters and brother-in-law, Corrine and Otis Hancock of Darlington, Juanita Robinson of Camden; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin A. and Aline Kelly of Hartsville; grandchildren, Kelly Pridgeon, Thomas Huggins, Haley Ruth Deremo, McKenzie Deremo; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Pridgeon, Trey Pridgeon. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Geraldine Kelly; brother, Buddy Kelly; sisters, Sue Lee Weaver and Ruby Suggs.
