Mrs. Funderburke was born in Chesterfield County, a daughter of the late Hillard Belk and Bertie McLaurin Hunt. She spent her childhood between Charleston and “Hunts Mill” before her family moved to Hartsville. She was very active in Emmanuel Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Church. She taught preschool and kindergarten before becoming a home health care provider. She will be greatly missed.

Mr. Kelley died Tuesday, Oct. 21. Born in Darlington County, he was a son of the late Vander Burdeen and Hannah Gainey Kelley. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church where he served as the church treasurer for many years. He was retired from Sonoco after 41 years of service and served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a loving, caring father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, bee keeping, and gardening.
