BLOG: Juicy gossip or sticky mess?

College campuses across the nation are in an uproar. The uproar is not due to the ever-declining stock market or high gas prices, but instead the fuss is all about cyberspace. A website called JuicyCampus.com has gained extreme popularity just over this past week.
The website is designed to let users/college students spill gossip and remain anonymous while doing it. The site features every college campus imaginable, ranging from the University of Florida all the way to our own small college, Francis Marion University.
The response has not been a positive one. Rumors are being spread about people, whether or not they are true. Because the site does not require a username or login, the person submitting the comments are untraceable. Students, good and bad, are being ripped apart on this site.
Several students have stood up against the site and are trying to take legal action against it and possibly get it banned. More details on the future of the site and the gossip are sure to come.
