A person working with the Marlboro County High School booster club was arrested Thursday after police said he grabbed a student’s buttocks, Bennettsville Police Lt. John Hepburn said.
Myreon Williams, 38, of Bennettsville faces assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature charges, Hepburn said.
Police said the incident happened Oct. 17 when the booster club was preparing to attend a game.
That ’s when the suspect grabbed a 16-year-old girl.
Williams remains in custody at the Marlboro County jail awaiting a bond hearing.
