Junior's Body Shop shooting: victim's family speaks

The investigation of a double murder continues in Darlington County.
It happened early Saturday morning at Junior's Body Shop, located on the 300 Block of West McIver Road in Darlington County.
A party took place there in the lounge portion of the shop.
Deputies said there was an argument, a fight and then gunshots.
Darlington County Coroner identified the victims at 27 year-old James Muldrow and 28 year-old Andre "JuJu" Berry.
Hardee said the two men died from gunshot wounds.
News13 spoke with Berry’s family; they said he was trying to break the argument up.
Sunday three girls were without a father, Flone Benson was missing a husband and the Berry family was joined by pictures, memories and disbelief.
"We all had a certain connection with him in our own little way. Pretty much best friends with each of us," Latarsha Berry, victim's sister, said.
Friday was the last time family members saw "JuJu".
"Before he left here he was just playing with all the kids," Berry said.
Later that night "JuJu" went to his uncle's car shop for a family fundraising party--that's also where Darlington County deputies responded.
Three people were shot, two died and "JuJu" was one them.
"He actually was a peacemaker. He was trying to keep peace he was an innocent bystander," Berry said.
Family members said his life ended at a time when he had everything going for him.
"He was really friendly with everybody. He really loved the kids," Berry said. "He loved his family; he would give his last to anybody. He'd rather give than have."
Berry said this time "JuJu" gave his life and it never should have been taken.
"There's no reason for anyone to pull out a gun. Not to solve anything," Berry said.
Deputies said so far there are no arrests in the case.
