The Carolina Sandhills National Wildlife Refuge announces the following dates and seasons for 2008-2009. Each hunter must obtain a refuge hunting permit for additional refuge-specific information, regulations, and bag limits. The permits may be downloaded from our web site (http://carolinasandhills.fws.gov), obtained in person, or you may request one over the phone (843/335-8350). Applications for the Quota Turkey Hunt are available at the refuge office, located 3.5 miles east of McBee on US Highway 1. Please call (843/335-6024) for more information about hunting on the refuge.
