LETTER TO THE EDITOR: What has happened to our 'All American City?'

We moved to Hartsville 14 years ago. I have seen this town go from an “All America City,” where it was a safe place to live, to a crime pit.

The robberies, beatings, intimidations and now murders are running rampant.

It makes me sick and very angry to read and hear of the heart breaking suffering of innocent families that have been victimized. This has to stop! We have to TAKE OUR TOWN BACK from those that think they have the right to take what isn’t theirs, and to thoughtlessly destroy families.

I am calling out to all the churches and God’s people to fast, pray and encircle this town in the power of God’s protection. Let us work through the power of Jesus Christ to make this a safe town to live in again.

From someone that loves this city and loves the Lord.
