Highway patrol describes vehicle in Dillon hit and run

The S.C. Highway Patrol has released more specific details about the vehicle thought to have been involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision in Dillon County.

State troopers are looking for a light-colored Chevy Tahoe from the 2001 to 2004 model years. The vehicle is expected to have front-end damage, particularly on its passenger side.

The collision, in which a man riding a bicycle died, happened at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 301 between Latta and Dillon.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact local authorities or the highway patrol at (843) 661-4705.
