4th, 12th Judicial Circuits continue to fight underage drinking

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Setting up many traffic safety checkpoints in the past nine months, along with party patrols, are just two of the ways that Marion County's Trinity Behavioral Care and the 4th and 12th Judicial Court Circuits are continuing their quest to address underage drinking.

Party Patrols are when Alcohol Enforcement Team members meet to check out bars or parties in the area where it is suspected that there is underage drinking.

Eric Grice, AET Coordinator for 4th Judicial Circuit, and Dawn Hancock, AET Coordinator for 12th Judicial Circuit, have been working hard this past year to insure that the youth are being watched in regards to alcohol consumption with the hope that this will lower our counties’ underage drinking numbers and fatalities. They have also been educating and training officers in both circuits in order to combat this problem more efficiently.
