Cato will relocate its store in Marion to the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 2101 Enterprise Drive, off U.S. Highway 76 at the U.S. Highway 501 bypass, and reopen it on Nov. 12.
Cato is a leading specialty retailer of value-priced women’s fashion apparel, shoes and accessories offering exclusive fashions in the newest styles, colors and fabrics, a press release about the move, said. Stores feature women's sizes 4 to 26 and girls’ sizes 7 to 16. “With exclusive styles, on-trend fashions and low prices every day, our customers can always find their statement of style while enjoying their shopping experience at Cato. We are excited about the opening of our new store in Marion,” said John Cato, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Latonya Cantey of Mullins will continue her management role at the new location. The Cato Corporation operates three store brands – “Cato,” “It’s Fashion” and “It’s Fashion Metro,” with more than 1,300 stores in 31 states. There are 63 Cato stores in South Carolina.
