Inside the Woodhaven Pancake House, people we spoke with come from all different walks of life, and have different ideas for when they're voting this Tuesday.
Michael Santucci of Myrtle Beach, SC says, "Well, I plan on being there hopefully as soon as they open, so I can get there early, and be one of the first ones to vote."
Jack Wright of Greenville, SC says, "Election day I plan on taking my lunch hour off and going to vote at that time."
Many are already done voting, and for North Carolina resident Lucy Benton, she says her and her family cast their absentee ballots already.
She says, “There has already been long lines. From the very first day that the polls opened we had long lines up in Gastonia, which is just above Charlotte."
Surfside Beach resident Judy Harrar says because there has been so many absentee voters, it will affect lines come Election Day.
She says, "I don't think there'll be a long wait…I don't anticipate that because of all the days people have had the absentee ballots to vote."
The historical nature of this election is also wearing on people's minds.
Wright says, "It's going to be a different election all together, I'm excited and a little scared all at the same time."
Santucci says, "It was basically I would say about time maybe, but it was coming there's no question about that."
