A Scranton man has been indicted for threatening to assault and murder Congressmen, Acting U.S. Attorney Kevin F. McDonald said in a press release.
Roger Frank Osborne, 55, is accused of calling the Morning News and threatening to gun down U.S. senators and representatives.
Osborne could receive 10 years in prison if convicted.
The case was investigated by the FBI, the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and State Law Enforcement Division, and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney A. Bradley Parham of the Florence office.
