A midday traffic stop led officers to a drug bust Tuesday.

Tyrone Jermaine Graham, 32, of 1105 Dennis Road, Lake City is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana within proximity of a school, according to Lake City Police Chief Billy Brown.

Officers stopped the suspect because of traffic violations and after searching the vehicle found 56 grams of marijuana valued at about $1,000.

The driver of the vehicle faces several traffic violations but does not face criminal charges.

Graham remains in jail under a $7,000 surety bond, according to Lake City records.
