A Dillon County man was charged with reckless homicide Thursday morning. 23 year-old Johnny Marion Corbett Jr. of Hamer, was booked in the Florence County Detention Center this morning to face charges stemming from a car crash that happened this past weekend.
Trooper Sonny Collins with the South Carolina Highway Patrol says Corbett collided head-on with another vehicle around 3 p.m. Saturday on Ebeneezer Road between the ESAB entrance and the Florence County recycling center.
Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews says the driver of the other car, 23 year-old Alonzo Lister of Florence, died Wednesday at a local hospital from injuries received in the crash.
