A number of republicans were watching and listening Monday night.
And some were talking.
The Myrtle Beach republican club hosted a "campaign whistle stop" at the historic train depot.
It was almost like the GOP version of the Democrats Stump in Galivants Ferry.
Republican candidates for U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, the South Carolina House and Senate, as well as Horry County Council, Auditor, Treasurer, Clerk of Court, Coroner, and Sheriff all took part.
Each candidate had two minutes to tell people why they were the best choice for the job.
There was also a free chicken bog and music.
Mary Henry, president of the Myrtle Beach republican club tells News13 well over 300 people were in attendance.
