Accused peeping tom faces another charge

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Police say a Florence man they arrested May 9 for peeping into women’s windows and calling others on the phone to threaten them with sexual acts now faces addition charges because he used the jail’s phone to continue to harass one of his victims, Florence Police Maj. Carlos Raines said.

Antonio Revon King, 35, of 1549 N. Sierra Range is charged with breaking into a motor vehicle, Raines said.

Police say the suspect used a rock to break into someone’s vehicle on Irby Street on May 9 and took documents with the victim’s phone number written on them. While behind bars, the suspect used the number to repeatedly call the victim, Raines said.

King remains in custody at the Florence County Detention Center in Effingham. Bond information wasn’t available by press time Friday.
