Conway police arrest five men on grand larceny charges

Police arrested five people on grand larceny charges in Conway for attempting to steal railroad beams. Larry Edward Richardson, Johnny Michael Dillard, Kurtis Wayne Richardson, and Daniel Martin Norris of Conway along with Daniel Thomas Brown of Aynor were each charged on one count of grand larceny over $5,000.

Police say the found the five men trying to load five steel railroad beams on a trailer at around 7:00 p.m. Monday night. The trailer already had five beams loaded on it.

The men were taken to J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Each received a $2,500 surety bond from a Conway City Court Judge Tuesday morning.
