I would like to comment on the article in the June 20 Morning News titled, “No rate increase for FDTC.”

It says a lot about FDTC and its staff to not increase prices when everyone else does.

Not because they didn’t need the increase.

Like all of us, I’m sure they could have used it. They didn’t raise the rates because they put their students first.

Can you believe that in this day and time? We’ve read about just about every other college, university and public school district increasing rates because they needed the money.

FDTC staff and leaders chose to “cut back somewhere else” because they realized their students were having just as hard a time as they were.
It is an amazing concept.

Thank you again FDTC for a job well done and being such a good example.

Maybe you should be running a few other government programs around here.
