Jessica King is stayin' alive on FOX's hit TV dance competition "So You Think You Can Dance."
The Coastal Carolina Unversity student and former student and current teacher at Myrtle Beach School Of Performing Arts did not get voted off Thursday night on the show, thanks to the votes of viewers all across the country.
Her friends, roommates, and her father all gathered Wednesday night to watch Jessica and her competition partner, Will, perform for the judges.
"Not many people get to live out their dream in life," said Brittany Horine, one of Jessica's roommates. "This is something she's worked her entire life for."
Jessica's mother is in California with her right now, and Horine and several others are flying out there to be with her next week.
Her father, Stan, was in Los Angeles for the first two weeks.
"It was just a good experience, and to see her up on the big stage--for a daddy--it was a dream come true, too," said King.
"So You Think You Can Dance" returns next week to FOX TV.
