On Saturday you have a page called Faith & Values; I think I know what faith and values are, but apparently you and I don’t see it the same way.
Several weeks ago you had a large article advertising a summer camp where atheist parents can send their children to camp and feel comfortable. What does that have to do with faith and values?
As if that weren’t bad enough on June 7, you had a picture of two lesbians in California waiting to get their marriage license locked in a mouth-to-mouth kiss. How sickening.
My first thought was how in the world could you possibly see any faith and values in that situation. I realize that little by little this world system is trying to de-sensitize us to accept ungodliness.
I assure you it is working, and it will lead to our downfall. It did Sodom, and it will America and any other country that falls that low.
I do not claim to be the most intelligent person in the world, but I am smart enough to know that there has to be some authority on what is right and what is wrong for a society to survive.
Having the practice of, “everyone doing that which is right in his or her own eyes,” will not work for long. The authority of which I speak is not the Supreme Court.
Jehovah God is our ultimate authority, and He gave us a book to guide us. That book is the Bible.
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, word of God that can be trusted to lead us in all truth. To read it, believe it and obey is to become wise.
To ignore God’s word or willfully disobey it is to be foolish.
