Baseball fans listen up! The Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach has announced it’s hosting an “Experience” baseball camp at the facility in July. The camp is from Wednesday, July 16, through Friday, July 18. The camp features Hall of Famer, Cal Ripken, Jr., according to a press release.
“The Ripken Way Camp is a wonderful way for players to learn more about all aspects of the game of baseball,” said Bobby Holland, General Manager of The Ripken Experience – Myrtle Beach. “This week gives campers the finest well-rounded experience in all field positions rather than focusing on just a few.”
“The Ripken Experience Camp is ideal for players looking to learn more about the game overall and will include infield, pitching, outfield, hitting, and team instruction as well as instructional games each afternoon. All campers will receive a written evaluation from their instructors at the end of the week so they can learn more about their strengths and areas they need to focus on.”
Former Baltimore Orioles great Cal Ripken, Jr., will be on hand for two of the three days of camp, thereby enabling campers to learn directly from the IronMan himself. In addition to the personalized training from Ripken and other baseball people, each camper will receive: Ripken shirt, baseball hat, autographed Cal Ripken, Jr., baseball, written evaluation from a team instructor, and exit packet detailing the week’s drills. There also will be many giveaways, such as a team photo, Ripken equipment bag, water bottle, and more.
