»  Comments | Post a Comment

Two Olanta men have been arrested in connection with a May 20 home invasion that left one person injured, Florence County Sheriff’s Capt. Julius Lee said.

Anthony Terrell Hickson, 26, of First Street Lot 18 and Domanick Wilson, 20, of 4153 Third St., each face a first-degree burglary charge, Florence County bookings reports show. Hickson was arrested Wednesday, while Wilson was arrested Tuesday.

Deputies said two men entered an Olanta home and fired several shots from a shotgun. They took money and other items from the home and assaulted one of the three residents with a pistol, Lee said. The victim was treated for his injuries and is expected to recover.

Both men remain in custody at the jail in Effingham awaiting a bond hearing before a circuit court judge.
