The Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Florence County.
According to the Highway Patrol, it happened around 7:15 p.m. Monday night on Paper Mill Road near River Neck Road.
Authorities say a motorcycle traveling east on Paper Mill Road ran off the road and struck a utility pole.
Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews identifies the victim as 42 year-old Daniel Cooper of Florence. Matthews said Cooper died at the scene as result of head injuries sustained in the crash.
