CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) _ Cadets attending The Citadel will pay 9 percent more in tuition this fall.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reported Monday that the military college's board of visitors approved the tuition increase Saturday. The increase means South Carolina residents will pay $8,428 in the 2008-09 school year. Tuition was $7,735 in the 2007-08 year.
Out-of-state students will pay $21,031, an increase from $19,291 in 2007-08.
