A Columbia man died Wednesday of injuries he suffered in a car crash on East Old Marion Highway in Florence, Florence County Coroner M.G. “Bubba” Matthews said.
Luther L. Mason Sr., whose age wasn’t available, was pronounced dead at the scene, Matthews said.
Mason was traveling west on Old Marion Highway when he veered off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and then crashed in someone’s yard, Matthews said.
