LOGAN, Ohio (AP) -- South Carolina authorities say they are questioning people in southern Ohio about the death of a recent Logan High School graduate who fell from a sixth-story hotel window while in Myrtle Beach.
Eighteen-year-old Corey Kissling died June 11.
Myrtle Beach Police Detective Carol Allen says friends who were with Kissling at the Sand Castle Resort when he died will take lie detector tests.
Horry County Coroner Robert Edge says the assumption is that the fall from the hallway window was accidental, but authorities are still trying determine how it happened.
The window shattered, and Kissling died of head and chest injuries from the fall.
Investigators say beer was in the room where Kissling stayed.
A group of his friends was kicked out of the hotel earlier in the day.
