The South Carolina Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration announced a public information meeting about the proposed U.S. Highway 501 Aynor overpass project.
The public is invited to drop in anytime from 4-7 p.m. at Aynor High School on July 16.
Officials will have displays about the project and the area of development, and the public can submit comments and questions in writing, but there will be no formal presentation on the 16th.
Transportation authorities will have an official public hearing at a later date, but that time and place have not been announced.
