Authorities say July 4th is the second deadliest day of the year on America’s roadways.
During the Fourth of July holiday weekend, Conway police will be conducting an aggressive patrol for drunk drivers, according to a press release.
They are also reminding everyone that buzzed driving is drunk driving.
Here’s some ways to enjoy a safe and festive holiday without endangering the lives of others on the roadways:
-Designate a sober driver and give that person your keys.
-Use a taxi, call a sober friend or family member to get home safely.
-If you happen to see a drunk driver on the road, don’t hesitate to contact your local law enforcement agency.
-Designate your sober driver before the party begins.
