The public will have a chance to have their voices heard tonight regarding a proposed landfill in Marlboro County. Marlboro County Council will allow Waste Management and DHEC to present information on the proposed Mega-Dump in the county. DHEC has been criticized in the past for landfill problems in Horry County.
The meeting is scheduled for 6pm at the Marlboro County High School, located on Fayetteville Avenue just off U.S. 15-401.
