The Second Chance K9 Rescue of the Pee Dee and Carolina Kitties Rescue will have a pet adoption from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Pet Lovers Warehouse on South Irby Street in Florence.
The Second Chance K9 Rescue of the Pee Dee will have dogs and puppies available. The animals will have been bathed, and each dog will go home with a lead and a small starter bag. Because of limited space, the rescue won’t be able to hold any adopted puppies or dogs until Christmas.

Carolina Kitties Rescue will have kittens and cats available. The cats are up-to-date on vaccinations, FeLV tested negative, treated against fleas and spayed or neutered if they are old enough.
Photos of the other cats at the rescue are available and appointments can be made to see them.
