Dozens of parents around the Myrtle Beach area constantly grieve about the loss their child.

On Sunday, they joined the rest of the world in remembering their children that have died.

The Compassionate Friends Support Group is a worldwide organization, and at 7 p.m., a candle was lit for Myrtle Beach. There were many other candles for other parts of the world that were lit as well.

Some of the parents News 13 spoke to say they are glad to be a part of a group that has people that understand what kind of grief they are going through.

The group meets at 6:45 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month at the Grand Strand Senior Center on 21st Avenue.
