The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Georgetown County.
According to Trooper Sonny Collins, the incident happened early Friday morning at 1:15 a.m. on Etheridge Road, about 4 miles east of Andrews.
Collins said the driver of a 2003 Chevy Avalanche lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree.
Collins said the victim was not wearing a seatbelt.
Georgetown County Coroner Kenneth M. Johnson identified the victim as 42-year-old Pamela G. Connelly.
