The first annual Black and White Ball will be presented to all party goers! New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, from 8 p.m.-1 a.m., in the Marion Emporium.
For only $50 per person, you can enjoy live music, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and all the cocktails you can handle. A special dance floor has been installed so you get down and boogie and welcome in the New Year. If you wish to have a good time, just call the Main Street office at 423-9918 and reserve your place for the Good Time, Party Time, Hall of Fame, New Year’s Eve time, party of the year!!!
And don’t forget the Prelude to Christmas that will take place Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6 and 7.
Free photos with Santa, free carriage rides through the Historic District, artists displaying there wares for you to enjoy and purchase, plus the Pee Dee’s largest and grandest Christmas Parade Saturday afternoon at 4:30 pm. Sunday will be the Artists Show from 1 to 5pm, the Pilot Club’s soup and cornbread supper with their silent auction, the arrival of Santa at 5pm, and 100 small ones singing Christmas carols at the tree lighting.
After the lighting, there will be the biggest fireworks display in the area at Withlacoochee Park.
This is Marion’s 19th annual Christmas tree lighting and Community Holiday Prelude.
