A New York man has been indicted for transporting and shipping child pornography, according to a press release issued Thursday by U.S. Attorney Reginal I. Lloyd.
David Alan Panchou, 46, of Oswego faces a $250,000 fine and 15 years in prison if convicted.
The case was investigated by agents of Immigration and Custom Enforcement and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney William E. Day II, of the Florence office.
This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative designed to protect children from online exploitation and abuse.
