Britton’s Neck-Gresham Christmas Parade, 11 a.m., Dec. 15. Parade begins at Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, State Highway 908, Gresham. Entertainment will follow at the W.R. Saffold Resource Center.
Sellers Christmas Parade at noon on Dec. 15.
The Mullins Candlelight Tour of Churches, and Mullins Christmas Tree lighting and lighting of the first “Tree of Light” will be Sunday, Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m. Tour of churches includes St. Paul Baptist (5:30-6 p.m.), First Baptist (6:15-6:45 p.m.), Macedonia United Methodist Church (7-7:30 p.m.), The Train Depot (7:45-8:15 p.m.), Lighting of the Town Christmas Tree and Tree of Light.
The Downtown Marion Holiday Prelude will begin on Nov. 30 with the Arts Council Marion County's Parade of Trees, from 6-10 p.m. in the Opera House, West Godbold St.;
Saturday, Dec. 1 events include the Parade of Trees, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; The Artist's Place in the Historic Marion Revitalization building on Main Street, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Photos with Santa ($5 each, Byars Mini Park on the corner of Harlee and Main Streets) 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; Carriage rides, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; The Inn on Harlee decorated in the Victoria era style, open for tours, $5, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Parade at 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 2. events include the Parade of Trees, 2-7 p.m.; The Artist's Place in the Historic Marion Revitalization building on Main Street, 2--5 p.m.; The Inn on Harlee decorated in the Victoria era style, open for tours, $5, 1-6 p.m.; Pilot Club Soup Supper, Marion Baptist Church, 5-7 p.m.; City Christmas program and Tree Lighting (Courthouse Square) 6 p.m.; Fireworks, immediately following in Withlacoochee Track.
