JMS staff and students enjoyed homecoming activities the week of Oct. 22-26. Activities were: The spirit week days were:
Monday-Team Day/Hat Day: Wear your favorite team clothing (college or professional). For $1 extra, you could wear your favorite team hat ALL DAY!
Tuesday-Dress For Success Day: Dress to impress your administrators, teachers, and friends. Sixth and seventh grade students voted for the Homecoming King and Queen during 1st period. 8th Grade students voted during second period.
Wednesday-School Colors Day: Show your school spirit by wearing maroon and gold or your Swamp Fox clothing. A Pep Rally was at 2:15 p.m. in the gym to meet the football team, cheerleaders, and homecoming court.

Alexisis Hopkins was crowned Homecoming Queen at halftime. She was sponsored by Devante Gilbert and escorted by Marc Johnson. First runner-up was Weslyn Burroughs, sponsored by Dylan Godbold and escorted by Garrett Gasque. Second runner-up was Chriseon Smith sponsored by Jimmy Hardy and escorted by Daniel Fore.
The Fox Cubs had a great game in the rain, beating Hartsville 28-8. Daquan Reaves scored three touchdowns and D. J. Hopkins scored one. On the defense, the game was led by defensive lineman Keon Johnson with an interception by Devante Gilbert. Despite the rain, this was a great way to end our season.
